Daylight savings

Posted by jonazanteo at 12:38 AM on October 29, 2007.

I got up today as my alarm rang. I noticed that it was only 9am. There was one problem, half of my clocks and my K.O.-ed watch were showing 10am instead. Something is very wrong. I checked my laptop and my phone and both were at 9am. Now why are they one hour behind? Funny, went online to confirm a suspicion that I had and it was also the same 9am. Late for church? I was not and then it sudden sparked me, clocks all over the UK are one hour behind. Hey wait its Sunday the 28th right? No wonder the clocks are all one hour pushed back.

It means that daylight savings are over.

One extra hour of the day so that means we have 25 hours today!! WOOHOO!!

Whats for dinner?

Posted by jonazanteo at 04:46 AM on October 19, 2007.

Today's dinner was steak. Yes I cooked it up. So what I did was to take a slab of beef that is probably 1.5cm thick and around 4 inches wide. Yikes I have three of em, ok one will do. Cut some carrots and broccoli. So the carrots and broccoli go into the microwave with some spices for around 3 minutes on 600 watts and the steak itself gets marinated with some salt, msg, lea and pearins and lastly pepper, can't for get that now. Well cooking it was the easy part only that the oil was jumping out so I do need a cover for the pan next time if I try something like that. Ok so the total cooking time in total was exactly 1 hour plus eating and washing up. Well the result in the end...

Pictures?

Posted by jonazanteo at 09:19 PM on October 18, 2007.

So thats life, no pictures of late as there is nothing much to take and I probably have to document something well for the time being I will be going for the International Fellowship this coming Friday to meet up with Ken and Isabelle and also the rest of the members who are attending it. I wonder what is going to be cooking and such. Ok of late things have gotten hectic and I can see some people slowly re-entering their trend of things like theres one guy, even back in INTI he came for CF once, twice then gone, work-lah, too busy-lah, need to study-lah and the same thing is gonna happen here also. Well church he says he definitely will go but the other activities he'll probably not go for them. Well I have yet to see how it goes

Ok me and Victor today went out to look for rice to buy after class. We both got 5 kg packs each and I bought a can of lycee the canned type and probably gonna open it later tonight after dinner, which would probably be a steak dinner for me since I got the materials for it only that I am probably missing some sauces but then again the way I cook is for the healthy and my grandmother would complain why so little added? Yes people I look healthy, live healthy and am healthy like it or not. Even some of the girls that have come over due to my flatmate's cooking as their fridge was broke and the new one blocked the door so they came over to eat and one look at what I ate and such they were going wah, healthy guy. In the spur of the moment I did not know what to say as I was quite out of it at that time after gaming for a few hours on end that time. So the place we went to for lunch after that was called Bangkok City. A Thai restaurant run by 3 ladies from Thailand and 2 of em were the cooks while one manned the main counter. So we tried it out and ordered out food and drinks. I had the tom yam chicken soup with fried beef and rice and he had the same but chicken instead. Was good to be eating Thai food once again and even the waitress told us that its only mild spice and we could order extra hot next time if we wanted. Both of us agreed and said yeah next time we come its gonna be extra hot. First time eating there and for a price of a 6 pounds each it was good in a long while.

Next time, looking for more food in town or was it looking for more grub to get? Hehe.
